Domains with those special characters...

Everyone know what I'm talkin about? Those domains with like the o's that have a line through them. Or some other special character... are those really worth something? Because 99 out of 100 people don't really know each specific alt code, lol.

I'd say the answer is no, they are pretty much worthless, for just that reason.

The only value I could see is as a vanity plaything, which may drive them into high $xx or low $xxx, but those are enduser prices.

I have seen them being sold on ebay before - you may be able to track some history down there with a little research effort
