i believe the three other registrars are still offering
the free info registrations. i am now waiting on the
free .biz registrations which supposedly are being contemplated but no verification as to that info has been received.

Has anyone here been able to confirm if the 25 .info limit is ...

A. 25 at each participating registrar or

B. 25 Grand Total across ALL registrars?

Thanks Much.

I can't think of anymore .info's to register...you know .info sucks when that happens..lol

Either that or all the good ones are now taken...which means its as popular as .net and .org.

Also, I did see that encirca.biz has .info's for $1.00. I didn't read the fine print though.

I can only think of so many .info sites - all the good ones are taken.

yeah its pretty tough to find good .info names...

I got CampingFood.info a couple days ago which I think its a pretty solid name (for being free)

I ran every domain I have (1500+) through a bulk register form and found about 40 available in the .info extension that were worth registering. .info is getting pretty saturated and the quality of drops seems to be falling as well, or at least the prices of them are no longer cheap. Seems to me .info has matured to the equivalent of .net or .org.

doesn't dotster.com still has free .info's ?

Yes, however there a couple of things to note with dotster
They want a credit card
They will not allow a change in registrant until Jan 2005

The other registrar that offers 25 free .info is domaindiscount24
No credit card required and you can push to another account immediately
