Anyone know any good alternatives to DomainTools?

I've been a member there for nearly a decade and not only have they hiked up the price to $600/yr for professional membership, but have imposed ridiculously low limits.. 100 searches for the DomainSearch.. this doesn't even query live whois yet as the highest paying membership level can only do 3 searches per day? These things used to be unlimited and for half the cost. Its one thing to raise prices but to cut the level of service at the same time for something that is not resource intensive is just plain ridiculous.

So anyhow, what other alternatives are out there, anything else comparable with whois history, reverse ip etc..?

There are some comparable services but none has all the features DomainTools offers. You can try v3whois.com for basic WHOIS, and webboar.com for reverse IP. ZFBot.com offers some great search tools for string/DNS.

IP Neighborhood is also good, particularly for Aussie domainers (.com.au domains). It's not as fully-featured as DomainTools, but it's excellent value for the price (way cheaper than DomainTools).
