closed Dotmains.com and Dotmain.com

After a very lengthy search for a domain-dealing identity on the web, tonight I think I finally ended up with something:

Dotmains.com and Dotmain.com

My favorite being the plural.

I thought the two were quite clever and obvious for the resell market. I think I found a couple of winners but I'm still glowing. :laugh: What do you think?

Also, what do you think is the best way of word seperation? i.e. DotMains.com, DoTmains.com, doTmains.com, DOtMAINS.com, etc.

I guess I'm not really asking so much from a value stand point. I'm really only interested in development anyway (unless of course I got a juicy offer (bah))

Do these names seem professional enough for a sales and/or reseller site? I see brandability, but I'm wondering you can?

I too doubt that they'd be worth much if simply resold.

I see no value at all. Yes they are brandable ... but then just about anything is. Would you have confidence in a domain reselling site thats called DotMains.com?

Names like this are the reason names should be $100 each to register as it would force people to actually think before they registered names.

I guess I see my name similiar with a name like dotster.com at a professional level. Try to be unbiased for a minute, would you have confidence in a site called dotster.com?

Actually, "Dotster" has a ring to it, it flows and has a natural built in meaning. They also spent considerable amounts of money on marketing and building brand awareness.

Most of the names that we all go "huh?" on and have become famous, have certain things in common. They are short, one word, easy to pronouce, are memorable and usually came with millions in branding dollars.

I think if you spend a bit more time you could find numerous names better than the two you have.
