How may I know exactly when an org domain is going to be released due to lack in renewing it ?

I mean:

1- Sometimes I see org domains with "apparent exp. date" 2004 which are released few days after .... So, does all org names marked as "Hold", even if apprently renewed, expire first or later ?

2- How calculating the exact date of release of an org in pendingdelete ?

When it goes to pending delete, add 35 to the last update date.
