I've gotten a few serious offers in the low 5 figure ranges recently.....and am having trouble figuring out what I would let this one go for. Would love some opinions from the board.

Domain gets ~70 visits per day, earns ~$10 per day.

wow, nice name. I'd say if you are looking to sell to an end user, which that appears to be the case, I wouldn't let it go for anything under 15k-20k.

$10/day * 4 Years = approx. $15,000 Don't accept anything less. I'd lean more towards the 20k end.

Appreciate the input. I'm buying pure type domains like this at 4-5 years revenues, and sell/consider selling some at 7x....but am holding out for more on this one because its so recognizeable, developable, etc.

I have a few offers in the $15-20k range but nothing north of there.....so I guess that's where the market is pricing it for now.

I think 2.5 times revenue the norm, not that i agree to be honest it depends on the domain ! so that makes it around 10k so if you can get 15 to 20 sell it as i dont think you are going to get much more at the moment as even more so the singular is much better than the plural in this scenario,so take the cash is my advice mind you it depends if you need it ,i remember selling a car for 1k years ago i got offered 750 i turned it down weeks later till couldnt sell it and let it go for 350,the story is get the most you can but dont be to greedy.
Anyway good luck in you conquest in finding a 20k + buyer !

"I think 2.5 times revenue the norm"

--Wow, I would buy tons of pure type name brand .com's at 2.5-3x revenue! I think this is more the going rate for domains that used to have sites on them?

Actually, the article has had little to no impact on traffic (unfortunately).

If you don't want the "lowly" offers of $15k - $20k, I'll take them. I have DrumGear.com :-D

On subject, anything over $10k is a "SELL" sign for this domain.

Drum kits would be better than "sets". Decent though.

$15K to $20K is exactly what I was thinking would be pretty good. Even 10 to 15 would be ok.

I'd buy it (if I didin't own it) at $15k so its hard to tell if I should sell at $20k. Point of indifference perhaps. Still own it, I guess I am not a motivated seller.

And while this isn't the appropriate forum, for all of those who would have sold it at $10-15k, if you have something of similar quality that earns a similar amount for sale let me know ;)

I like it Mike - you can't argue with $10 per day on 70 uniques.. Me, personally, I'd sell for 3 to 4 years revenue or try to set up a solid affiliation with someone who can supply drums on commission. You know you can always get $10 per day on PPC, but the potential is greater.

even a butthead can figure a price for this .com
10.00 a day 30 day a month 300.00 per month times 12 equals 3600 per year
solid term so the money should always be there + pretty much a global name.
You should seek ten years income 36000.00. But this is two words, You can mix it up with drumset.com so It can cot be used for a one and only website you would loss traffic to the other name. But overcoming that is easy with the end user using drum sets and more than one playing the drums to make this domain name one to remember.
i think you slill loose 2 years of rev. min value is 30000.00 Real value is 36000.00
You will never loose the traffic. This domain is awesome. You should never sell it unless you recive a bid for over this amount.
