Don't worry about that, just keep in mind that the auction ends in 1 hour and 26 minutes :-)

but if the cut off was 12:00 he was too late if not then cut off is 12:01 then I was on time... and I had the bid in before the 12:00 cut off ... either way ... sorry i think you are wrong

my last bid edited due to double post, i have screen shot and sure admin can tell time of post.

Its not the first bid in an auction its the last bid...before the cutoff time that wins an auction... it he cut of time was 12:00 that his bid was too late and if it wasn't then neither is mine... you are wrong cause an auction has to end on the mintue not in the middle of a mintue. thats why people use anti snip rules usually... but in this case its all about timing and my bid was in on time. and if both bids were not on time then I had the high bid before the cutoff time. either way

you can't make up rules after the fact... geesh

I agree with Stewie on this
if the auction closes the minute of 12:00 that include 12:00 thru to 12:01
than simply the highest bid within that timeframe wins. having difficulty understanding why this would be an issue

OK, thanks guys, in order to be fair I am going to seek some advice from the mods before I complete this deal just to ensure that the domain goes to the proper person...

ok, I am in agreement with you on this... Your bid was technically the last bid before the time expired so you are right, it is the winning bid.

I apologize for the confusion...

a PM is on the way...

We had several issues with the same situation. There are 59 seconds within a minute before the clock is ticking to another minute.
Suggestion:
- Extend the auction another 12/24 hours and apply anti-snipe rule.

I will make the change to the rules so that anti-snipe is automatically in affect for the situation like this.

Thanks,
John

Thanks John I appreciate the input. In this case I declared Stewie the winner after reviewing the situation. In the future I will certainly make sure to review the rules prior to setting up an auction...
