Both of these are worth reg fee.

You won't see 100K in your lifetime for these names. $250 if you are very lucky.

depends on how you sell it, in my oppinion.. Well.. Business.com is the domain that all other domains should be priced after the value. If Business.com is the most valuable, then the other domains should be priced on basis of that. What I mean is that there is value in domains, you can even borrow money on your domain. So why shouldnt the value be set depending on the value of business.com?

Who says Business.com is the most valuable?

Sex.com sold for more. Business.com has just been sold for many times in the years...obviously gaining value.

I see.. :) But still it would be the sales sum that it was sold for the last time that would count? In my oppinion it would be. :)

But, you can't make that assumption...because names that were sold in 2000...surely do not have same value. They are worth much much more.

Casino.com sold for 5.5 million....you don't honestly think it would fetch anywhere near that now do you?

I worked for the company that brokered the deal for casino.com. I then worked for the company that owns casino.com. The next time casino.com sells it will be for 50 million or more.

As a crappy old portal that domain generated insane revenues every month in advertising dollars. The domain at 5.5 was an incredible steal for the buyer.

That being said, I don't understand this comparison of business.com to these domains.

These are currently worth somewhere between reg fee and a hundred bucks unless developed, but even then I fail to see the market and any way to generate sizable revenue.

Thats exactly my point! I also see the casino.com and business.com likeleness, I just mean that domains can be worth much money if you can sell the right, and then the appraisal given should be the value of the domain in regard of:

-Catch in the name
-Potential as TM and product name
-Potential in advertisement revenue
-hits and search results
-uniqueness
-and use of the name, what usage is there?
-and also how it can score in contrast to the most expensive domain sold.

You're not making a whole lot of sense. Let's look at your criteria for this name...

-Catch in the name << nothing special
-Potential as TM and product name << none
-Potential in advertisement revenue << very little
-hits and search results << most likely none
-uniqueness << uniqueness has little to do with value
-and use of the name, what usage is there? << very little
-and also how it can score in contrast to the most expensive domain sold. << no comparison

So based on this evaluation, there is no way this domain is worth $100k even if developed.
