I dont mind scaring them off either for I could even use this name in a couple years for my own real estate ventures. What would you ask ?

$500 sounds reasonable as it is a niche domain

Ask for $2k, especially if you may have plans for it yourself! But, it's really what you're comfortable in selling it for since you may have development plans.

Determine your "final" price, ask twice that amount, negotiate.

Either you get your price or you don't.

Good luck.

Plus, if you're a realtor, and your competitor takes your name, you may never get it back! If you really have plans to use it in the future, keep it or get a big price.

Realtor is a trademark and specifically warns members against this type of use of the name.

Some truth to this statement!

if you are not a "realtor",then you may be in jeopardy by trying to sell this name.

if you are, then ask for $2 > $4K!

No, you have it backwards... if you ARE a Realtor, they will revoke your membership for misuse AND sue you. If you're NOT a member, they'll just sue you.

Some domainer was fighting their trademark a couple of years ago but I never herd more about it. I assume he lost.
