poulos just about everyone can give you an 8.95 reseller account. The retail accounts are different in that you pay on a per domain basis and do not have to fund it $100 at a time.

It all depends what you want to do though. Going as a reseller under someone might be a good option if you wish to remain small but the outlay to get a $8.95 ETP direct from enom is I think a much better investment as you can always lower the amount per domain over time. Also you get special offers direct from enom that you will not get as a reseller under someone else.

I just set up a $ 8.95 reseller acct for someone today.
The system would not let me go below $ 8.95. Which, surprised
me.
I do understand if the ETP contacts Enom, they can adjust them lower.
But, I heard that they do not want to do this often. ????

People should try the following to get the $8.95 DIRECT ETP from enom.
1) You sign up as an ETP, you fund the account with enough money for 55 names, you email your DIRECT ENOM account manager, they reduce your price, you buy the name at the reduced rate.
2) You sign up as an ETP, you push 55 names into your account from another enom account if you have it, you email your DIRECT ENOM account manager, they reduce your price, you refill with at least $100 and they reduce your price.
If you look at the page I provided it shows you the spend levels that they ask most people for to reduce the per domain cost.
Once you have close to 40 names and are ready for a refill it's worth it to go direct ETP, anyone who has a $8.95 non-ETP reseller account should be jumping ship from their current account at that stage.
You can go lower for retail accounts, they set the pricing point for new resellers a while back. I have heard that depending how big you are they might decide to let you have a few lower pricing ones (ie. have a $6.95 ETP or less)

If you have 500+ names, you can ask for a $7.95, if you have 1,000+ names, the $6.95. Don't ask, don't get

Yes but people just starting out will unlikely have that number of names. You can also do a prepay up to the next level and a combination, all these options :-D
