Thank you for your feedback, I got an offer this morning by a afternic memeber for $200 US for AsiaTravel.mobi ... overture is at 14K. I ordered a appraisal from Afternic, and will counter offer with the value. $xxxx to $xx xxx US. A lot of .mobi names have been registered, but not everyone will type anything on their phones. But we all know, people will be shopping for travel packages. So it should value high.

because .mobi has no value, other than the cost to acquire, which is regg fee.
those who are buying are merely investors or other resellers.
if you do manage to sell one, then that is it's value to the person who bought it from you.
all others, still have no value, until they are sold or generate revenue!

Agree completly with you and ashaw .mobi cannot be valued as simple as that.

Funny, you could say that about any domain extension.

Is it not possible that some buyers are planning to develop their .mobi's?
