Hi

I have sold one .eu domain regged at GoDaddy, and the transfer (monitored by Sedo) was very fast and easy, only replying one mail from EURid.

Regards

Hi, I am in the process of transfering an EU , I had it registered with internet.bs , sedo told me it was locked and internet.bs told me it was'nt???

Hopefully it goes smoothly, have'nt got transfer request yet though.

Made a killing on the domain! 1000% profit!

how much did they pay if you want to tell us...?

cheers

mrojas2005,

I was told by Godaddy that I cannot change the ownership names and contact info for .eu domains at Godaddy.

Am I missing something?

Hi

After the agreement with the buyer, Sedo support told me not to change nothing at GoDaddy. I received an automatic mail from EURid.eu (the registry in Bruselles), answer this mail, and ready... The domain was transfered from GoDaddy to EUROdns (a registrar in Europe)

The domain name: zonaeuro.eu
Take a look at: www2.whois.eu

Regards

MrRojas2005,

This means I can still sell my .eu domains at Godaddy. But I don't do anything from the Godaddy end? Meaning Sedo or a party alike will do it on my behalf?

Hi ponce007
My domain was registered by GoDaddy, and parked at Sedo.
Here the process:
1) Sedo received the payment from the buyer
2) I received a "Trade request" from EURid.eu
3) Sedo told me: just reply this mail
4) in a few hours the transfer was done
I don't know what Sedo does, but remember that Sedo and GoDaddy are partners.

That works for me.

Thanks for the reply MrRojas2005

Just to clarify, accordingly to EURid policies and rules it is not possible for a Registrar such as Internet.bs Corp. to LOCK a domain. Here it is not a matter of partnership between GoDaddy and Sedo. IF an new Registrar accepts to handle your domain and initiate a TRADE and/or a TRANSFER request, the Registry (http://www.eurid.eu) will send an email to the Registrant's email contact as shown on Eurid's whois (http://www.whois.eu) and another email to the new Registrant (the second email is only sent for a TRADE, i.e. where you requested to change the Registrant as well and not simply a domain Transfer). If you confirm the transfer, there is a link to click on the body's email sent by the Registry, the transfer/trade is executed REGARDLESS of the "opinion" of your current Registrar.

Hi Marco Rinaudo

My reply in this thread was trying to help ponce007.
I am a new domainer, and the first .eu domain I sold.
I regged the domain at GoDaddy, and then sold it at Sedo market.
The process was very simple to me, just as you explain. Only click a link in the EURid's mail, and the transfer was done.

Regards
