I would like to consolidate my .EU domains into one registrar. Can anyone recommend someone?

I see 1&1 are doing them quite cheaply (5 UKP = $10 pa), but I have heard it might then be difficult to transfer them away in the future.

Any ideas?

Paul.

hey there

godaddy doesnt offer such service ?

as such for reselling the domain godaddy is the best as per my view

thanks
Ronak

Stay away from 1(&)1 as far as possible. I have many names w/ them and I should have none. Not even a single one.
1. Mandatory renewals (based on your Credit Card)
2. Organized by contracts and you can not move names between your own contracts unless you go through full transfer process and pay high fee
3. No free push, even paid push is impossible
4. No bulk DNS control (can you imagine changing DNS for 400 names one by one)
5. Serving residents of certain countries separately (US, UK etc.)
6. Personally - my worst

I do not recommend GD.
I highly recommend Moniker - the best experience.

Thanks

yeh thanks

as per a newbie i thaught that godaddy would be the best anyways i would always look forward with moniker as such may i know if moniker also has some schemes on bulk buying n all like godaddy sometimes it lowers the rate all

thanks
ronak

1and1 is a disaster.

GoDaddy and Moniker are a few pennies different.

You are correct in your assessment regarding transfers. They take much longer than the usual transfer. The euRID is the cause for this delay.

If you currently own the domain and are simply transferring it to another registrar, there will usually be no problem. But still expect a longer than normal delay (2 of mine took up to nearly 3 weeks).

So, keep that in mind when deciding to transfer.

Moniker is run by Monty Con -- could be a fake name.
He runs it out of his bedroom in Florida.
Monty has a mental disorder, and he gets really upset.
That's when he changes DNS on your domains or prevents you from transferring domains altogether.

lol :pop2:

The few .EU's I have are at Godaddy, since Enom, my main reg does not support the EU TLD.

The words about Monte are outrageous!...to say the least.

Try Sibername.com. Different price for bulk registration. Privacy option comes for free.

Internet.bs seems promising but does not come with privacy option.
