EURID, the company behind .EU domain names, announced that .EU Web Awards, a competition for best websites in certain categories, was a great. A ceremony was held at the Museum of Natural Sciences in Brussels, where the winners were handed over the prizes.
Here is the announcement:
"The .eu Awards Ceremony took place at the Museum of Natural Sciences in Brussels where 130 guests (including representatives of the nominees and their respective registrars) congregated to see six .eu domain name holders presented with a prestigious award and a media package worth 5 000 EUR for their outstanding .eu websites.
The winners in each category are as follows:
