I used to get a few "ok" names that had expired but my best find was mw.org that showed up in the "expiring" section. As a result I got the snap on mw.org and sat back to await the capture, (that was in the time when a snap really meant something).
Unfortunately during the period of the snap, along came pir.org and decided that 2-letter/character .org's would not be renewed on expiry.
So much to my dismay mw.org never "dropped" but was removed by pir.org.
As you can imagine Mr Webname was not amused!

I was sorting out a deal on CDRetail.com and
saw CDBar.com in Deleteddomains.

Tried my 1st snap, waited 2 months but missed it.
Would've been fun owning a seedy bar!

i grabbed a couple typos from deleteddomains list, i got yahoomaail.com,yahoomaiil.com, and yyahoomail.com, i ended up trading all of them for a 3 letter .com which in turn sold for 400$ so i made out pretty good.

Hey !! Yes, Deleteddomains.com has gone paid. Never noticed it.

It's one of the best free services there was when it was free..

One Week Subscription ($9.99/once)
Monthly Subscription ($14.99/month)
Quarterly Subscription ($39.99/quarter)
Annual Subscription ($99.99/year)

I am not associated with deleted domains. I am posting the subscription charges for the reference of other members.

Got a few good one's which sold for mid to high $$ > $$$

kitboy.com
saptutor.com
bigroar.com
zillionaire.net
ecasinos.org
ebanking.org

and others which I cannot remember.

However, I don't use them as much now, and won't since they now charge a fee!

At one time deleteddomains.com was all I knew.

I got my bread and butter names there for a long time.

Then I learned that you could get lists of names that would drop on particular days and I found that much easier to work with.
