Plenty of us know.

But if we tell you - in public - our success rate PLUNGES.

Why do you people always want everything for free? Do some research and LEARN THE FACTS for yourself.

Or wait for the DomainGuru's NEXT "groundbreaking" egotrip.

hosting3.com:

Sorry guy, got your mail a bit late. thewitt is correct: OpenSRS drops names after 40 days (and quite precisely usually, except over the weekend perhaps). I'm actually flattered when you quoted one of my earlier posts in your e-mail. Well, as a bonus, Register.com usually drops names between 30-40 days (35th or 36th is very often a good shot.)

Drewbert:

Not intended to flame, but may I ask what is the purpose of this forum? We all learn along the way. I learnt a lot (from HTML to CGI) from bulletin boards just like this one, and is still learning new things every day. This is what we call collegial, right?

RE: OpenSRS Drops

I sent an eMail to a guy from SRS with the same question.

He sent a reply echoing what is said on this forum - namely 40 days *though* sometimes it could be the 41st day.

As for the time - not quite sure.

Thanks to the poster re the Register.com drops. They do seem to be more haphazard.

btw If your looking for recent expiries please visit http://www.domain-names-for-sale-e.com/jack.html .

Good Luck,
