I was under the impression that Google was still penalizing Expired names. When I go to each of these sites, I'm told they have a page rank of the old goose egg. People have to stop trying to chase down PageRank domains (they bare the Mark of El Zero). It's a fickle thing to blow money on.

PR8 is mega high, and when I just went to take a look it wasn't the old goose egg it was the new puckered goose egg. Admittedly that's likely to change.

That's true... Google disregards links and PageRank for expired domains. It is often true that there are still links to the domain left on the internet, so the previous PR may give an indication of what kind of sites link to the domain.

Google may dislike expired domains with lots of links and former high PR --but I like em and I buy em!
