Hi,

Recently sold at Sedo:

faire-part.com 46,501 Euro

Created: 2008-06-22 !!!

Can you believe this?

~ 4 month old domain name for about 62.000 USD!!!

This domain seems to have been first registered in 1997 and seems to have been continuously registered up to 07-Jul-2008.

The fact that the current creation date is BEFORE 7th July 2008 (22-jun-2008) would seem to imply that the domain was either explicitly deleted before renewal date (which would be a strange thing to do) or maybe there has been some monkey business going on?

Any body know any more about this?

This domain was caught by Snapnames on June ;)

2008-08-04 Thumbnail shows it was already parked at Sedo....

1997-2007 Registrar: NETWORK SOLUTIONS, LLC

This domain was caught by Snapnames on June ;)

Is this your sale? :)

Not mine unfortunately, congrats to the seller :)

Once again one of those silly sales which proves that sky is the limit in this industry (unless something dodgy was going on...)

Seller is a member here. A nice flip for sure.

That's absolutely obscene. I'm more than a little bit jealous.

Nice sale!
Congrats to the seller :)

Fantastic return on investment. Congrats to the seller on outbidding me over at SnapN. If I had mysterious powers to see in the future, I would have continued bidding :)

This is not only an encouraging boost the the French market in general, but also to hyphenated domains that make sense.

What recession, right? :)

This sale is going to jack me up. I really can't wait to see 2009!

No, the seller wasn't me.
