Lets see what happens.... just for fun...... :)

because I have always wondered what it could get in a live auction....as I said though, if it meets reserve it will be sold to the highest bidder

1st day with no bids.....

update - fast-autos.com recieved 1924 hits yesterday, wow!!!

looks like my new search engine work is starting to help....how can you not bid on this site....traffic doubled yesterday!

well.....lets put it this way.... its easy to make $300 + per month with the current site I will give you if you winthe auction....and at 2000 targeted hits per day (yesterday was 1200 uniques)....even parking the domain could earn big money. I am asking people to pay as much as they would like to for this domain....if people bid their maximum....it will meet reserve, otherwise, no harm done...just bid your max. and the reserve will take care of itself :)

Advice: Specify an end time if you want bidder behavior to mirror that in a real auction.

It would be nice if you could announce a price, or reserve. You may be wasting everyone's time (if your reserve is very high).

Thanks.

giantdomains,

you are a wise man. :)

agread.

I dont think saying, lets have an auction and if I like the price, i will sell is a good idea.

It wastes time for everyone.

no it doesnt...put it this way. Why does ebay not show the reserve price? Because if everyone knew what it was, people who were not going to pay that much would never bid.... if you knew the reserve was say $1000 (just as an example) and you would only pay $800 max... you would never bid, which hurts the auction.

I have a set ending time....sort of, exactly 3 days after the last bid has been made.

Put it this way....I said the site makes $300 per month.... the reserve is between 6-9 months revenue....does that help?

and please only post in my thread of you are asking questions - or want to bid, thanks!

eBay auctions wit hreserves dont go as high becuase they are secret.

JMHO
And like I said b4, i am/was interested.

--------- ALRIGHT - UPDATE ----------

you guys were correct - it was foolish of me not to post a reserve or set end date.

I will now do both:

END DATE: 12:00 (Noon) board time on July 27 is when the auction ends

RESERVE: $2200 USD. Domain / Website will be sold if bidding reaches that price by the close date.

sorry about my mistake...this was my first auction..... good luck bidding

What is the actual highest bid?

currently the bid is $970

BIN (buy it now) price added: $3000

$1000

Far from the reserve .... but you never know.

Thanks for updating your auction GT ... it will run a lot smoother now. Good luck!
