First Page Only:

Hi, my initial impression was average. Site was forwarded/masked. Color scheme is below average. Logo is OK. Content is thin. No Privacy Syayement

I don't get the statement below. You have been open for 11 months, how is it that you are getting into the market cycle late?

"We know it is going to be a somewhat slow time of the year for listing subleasers due to the fact we came into the marketplace a little late"

I will get back to you with some suggestions on my coments above.

Sharpy ...

Thanks for the quick feedback. Yeah, the site is masked due to hosting problems and I just inputted the new nameservers so hopefully those will be working ASAP. As for the site design, I'm in the process of redoing it and that's why I'm here ... to see what people think would be worth doing to it. I just got the PHP done over at rentacoder.com so that the site would be more automated. I opened it up last year and did all the inputting by hand. Had about 15 listings (which is really good considering it opened with one month left in the school year for our city) but I wanted it to be automatically updated and have the ability to add other cities. So that's what I'm hoping this PHP script will do.
But I'm with you 100% on the color scheme being crappy ... it just doesn't appeal. Any tips?

also ... now that the nameserver is switching, you can check out the site at: http://www.sitevault.net/~subleaseme.com

First thing i would do is change the font to "verdana". Anything other than verdana looks crappy (given you use html, not gifs or similar), especially Times New Roman clones.

Hmmm...

The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings.

http://speyetek.com/subleaseme.htm works though.

You should check out some great free content building tools like
PHPNuke.

Sharpy and everyone else ...

Thanks! I love this place because members always give their input, and like Sharpy, even show examples. Its a work in progress and hopefully will get it set in a few days. The reason why it isn't working is that the nameservers changed so I'm just waiting for it to kick into gear (they said up to 72 hours).

Thanks everyone!
