I had a real estate web site developed sometime ago and uploaded to a crappy hosting package I got off Ebay for $10/year. I now wish to switch the hosting, but I cannot get in touch with the web site designers, as they are not responding to emails. Is there a way to copy the files on the site and upload them to the other server? It seems that there is no CP with the hosting to get in and access them. The web site is OpenHouseAds.com .

Presumably you don't have username/password to download from the server?

Actually that the username and password are the only things I do have.

Then why can't you ftp onto the server with something like Cuteftp and download the files?
Or if it can be done with Frontpage that might be another option.

I was actually looking into the CuteFTP earlier today. I have absolutely limited knowledge of doing this kind of stuff. Will CuteFTP allow for me to download the files from the one server and then upload to the other without having to do any modifications?

Yep, as long as you can connect to the existing server with the username/password, you can download the files to your PC. Then connect to the new server with your new username/password and upload the same files.
Just check with your new host to be sure that you upload them to the correct directory - your host will be able to tell you what that is.

Thanks. I'll actually be hosting the site so it shouldn't be too tough. I'll play around with it some, and if I run into any glitches I'll be seeking your guidance again. Thanks again!
