I recently picked up Fukr.com and Regr.com

They are pronouncable and I love both of them. I paid a decent amount but I think the popularity of Flickr.com and it's spelling without the er make them very brandable and add value above both being pronouncable LLLL.com.

Just wanted to bounce them off you all as well.

Please appraise:

Fukr.com
and
Regr.com

Thanks!

very nice in their own special way.

wondering approximately what you paid for these ? I'm guessing high $xx to low $xxx ...

more than that.
....but I develop names as well and typically buy off the potential I see. :)

well then certainly safe to take that data point and peg a confirmed "end-user" sale price at whatever you paid for them! I can see nice potential for developing and branding these short, memorable "flikr" style names - good luck with them!

lol, I'm still a domainer and have been for quite a while.
I'm confident a random sedo auction would yield more than I paid. :)

Thanks for the input.

Anyone else?

hey you www.fukr.com!

could become a well used term.

reseller $1K
developed with 100 uniques a day $10K

how did you calculate that?:)

it has the potential to be a big site, so once it gets 100 uniques a day,
1000 or 10,000 uniques a day is not far away, hence the big price tag. :approve:

lol. I hope your joking - there is a HUGE difference between 100 and 10,000 uniques a day.

i think fukr.com would be a tough one to market.....sounds a little bit like a bad bad word in my opinion.....:) as in mutha....fukr?...hmmm...might be tough to market and advertise this one....my 2 lil pennies worth....

Not if it's a naughty website  I think it's a great name, although how many people would type in ****er or fuker next time they visit the site? That's the big question with these short pronouncable domains.

As for the comment about $10K if it's developed and getting 100 uniques per day. It's not so black and white. What revenue is it generating with that traffic is more important...

It's the type of domain that could experience exponential growth,
i.e. become very popular with word of mouth.

that together with 100 uniques a day giving proof_of_concept
would make it valuable.
