I bought this domain for development .. or as an invesment

whats the future value and whats the potential ideas for the development

thanks

I was bidding on this one as well, thought it would be nice for something related to domains (domain flipping). $2,5k-$4k reseller imo.

reseller low xxxx

He already spent mid-$x,xxx

Nuco, to be honest, from a domainer's perspective you paid a premium price reserved for end-users. What did you have in mind with regards to development?

Yes, I was aware because I also backordered it. But as you mentioned, it was a kind of end user price rather than domainer or reselller range. I think low x,xxx range for reseller but for end users, anything can happen.

The price you buy for flip.net is to expensive ,even estibot estimate price $22k.
By the way,why not use $5000 for buy LLL.com?more valuable in the future than .net i guest.

Worth what you paid for it on the reseller market.

A ton of end-users from a variety of niches.

Agreed. It's VERY catchy and memorable. Definitely worth a development effort. I was bidding on it also. I think it's worth what you paid for it.

Thanks for the app ..

its Def worth i know ....

the end users is vast from real estate to domains

i may even develop this into a BST Marketplace

to kick start my long term Biz

Thanks

I think it's worth what you paid as well. No need to worry about selling it with a loss. Great name to own for any serious domainer imho.

I would think thrice to develop a .net domain.

I may prefer eFlip.com , iFlip.com , flipping.com , youflip.com etc.... than flip.net. It's , of course, personal choices.

i think it's best if you capitalize now on the newb domainer term "flip" and construct a platform for buying and selling "one word premo .net domains" only.

create a central marketplace and with some success, it could boost .net sales as well

other options, slap a 10 year renewal on it and wait :)

imo..

The best part is i already have a profitable offer .from my client .but i got a nice idea to develop so i will hold it..and starting the development soon

Seriously, if you have a $9k offer as you stated, give the domain some justice and FLIP it! :D

i belive this domain can bring in Alot of $$$$$$ once developed ...and works great for my idea..so thought to hold it for now..i may flip it if i dont start my idea...very soon

If you have a $9k offer, take it.

I would never advise holding onto a .net domain name.

It's catchy, don't get me wrong... if I were to appraise it, I would say that undeveloped, it's worth $4,000.

If you want to truly get the most $ out of it, I would recommend that you develop something on it, really build a brand around the word "flip", even if it's just a general RSS based news site to get some traffic.

I like this domain. There is a lot of possibility for it and I think it would make a great name for a game or the right mobile app.

Good enough .net to develop, so darn catchy!

There was a gambling domain here a few years back "golden coin" or something, made hundreds a day with people flipping the coin and betting.
