A foodie is someone whose culinary interests expand beyond the ordinary hum drum of "the meal."
The foodie sees:
The kitchen as a studio;
Utensils as the brushes;
Food as the paint;
The plate as a palate;
The meal an experiential gallery of shared consumption; and
The wine is a garden of liquid delight.
To the foodie, food is an art ââ¬â the art of consumptive expression.
