I am interested in finding out what is more commonly searched for... the term "Forum" or "Forums"

Obviously when buying domains i try to get both... but what is more popular? OVT unfortunately combines the two terms so you cannot see which one is used more... anyone have a better method?

i like forum better like, this is a domain name forum, dnforum. forums to me implies there is more than one, or a directory/search engine of forums. So forum is the best i think. unless the person is looking for more than one forum as in a directory or listings of forums.

Forums I think CAN work, but when it comes down to it, I would pay a lot of money for a good ___forum.com domain, but wouldn't pay anywhere near as much for the ___forums.com counterpart. Forum wins no contest if you ask me.

I've never seen a case where forums works better than forum. The word Forum makes the site feel more centralized and organized, while forums makes it sound spread out and potentially confusing.

I agree with droplister, forums sounds like it belongs in a name like "Top 100 Forums" or a directory site or something.

"Forum" wins by a hundred miles, except for a few names like Top10Forums.com. :-)
