I wasn't a Frank fan before his town hall talk. Now I'm a simi Frank fan. In so many words he said .mobi is a bad investment. Frank gains nothing by giving this free advice. He seemed genuinely interested in helping noob domainers. You guys are bent on misleading noob domainers. Frank only has 3 employees. He could quit today, give Vern a couple million dollars and never have to hit a lick the rest of his life. .mobi doesn't threaten anything in Frank's life.

Of course he has plenty to gain from this 'free advice'. Sure hes rich and could quit any time but hes not, hes still buying tons of domains. The mobile web is supposed to be the future and the idea of a new tld taking over that space seems to me like a big possible threat. No matter what these noob domainers sure seem to have a lot of money to drop on some of these .mobi's. I doubt they made it at burger king.
