Does anyone know a website that offers completely free domain names? I have already tried www.acidmist.com though!

You can get a free .tk at www.domain.tk but be aware that they use pop ups.

http://www.freenetname.co.uk gave away free UK domains

I have had more trouble with "free domains" providers than I have had with NetSol even 
If you have to use them - just get a very ugly and useless domain that you would not mind loosing to them.
