Any help appraising the following domains either individually or sold as a package?

Most of the domains point to a site that has a database with about 160-170k of pre-registrations from when I was going to launch this myself and so collected data. Not sure if this could be including in sale or if it would influence sale price.

Any hints on selling? I.e sell through one of the online companies sedo/moniker etc?

Thanks!

Great package man ... If I was sitting on that I'd get in touch with Jamster and pitch them man I'm sure they'd go for it.

Hi Synapse - thanks for the comment! Problem I have is working out any sort of estimate as to their value. Obviously don't want to under or over value them!

Well as with a lot of things in this world, how much will the market bare ;)

I'll take a punt for you;

Domains - I'd say their good but not great, pick of the bunch are probably free-ringtones.com, free-ringtones.co.uk, freeringtones.co.uk ... I'd be targeting number 2 in the ringtone market (their hungrier) and probably pitch them the package for $5k - $7k without traffic or if you can prove traffic $10k - $12k.

One Question about your pre-reg list ... did they a) click an 'i agree' to accept emails / sms's from 3rd parties, and b) have you had them double opt-in via email (ie. you sent them an initial email saying 'you signed up to this service please click here to authorize') ?

If you have clean list of 150k + people who want free ring tones then this is where it get's real interesting :)

Jamster are paying approx. 6 euro's to affiliates for a CPA at CJ.com ... so how much would they be prepared to pay upfront for such a list. You'd have to assume they have X amount of your list already in their DB and won't pay for duplicates but even if that's 50% your still offering them an opportunity to acquire say 80,000 new prospects!!

So what are they worth ... IMHO I'd start the ball rolling at 1.5 euro each that's $190,000 USD today!!! (and at this point of the negotiations you can a) throw in the domains to sweeten the deal and b) still be negotiated down to 1 euro each and be taking home a nice profit)

Hi Synapse,

List is pretty clean - on signup each email is verified to accept email via a software component before the actual email is sent. Your info is pretty much what I was after - the domain that gets the most traffic is actually freeringtones.co.uk hence why the DB is large.

I'll perhaps approach trying to sell the benefits of that database first and then throw in the domains as you say.

Thanks again for the response!
