Hi, I'm interested in opinions of www.freelogo.net - both appraisal, and whether its a useful site?

I've just got the site up there tonight - the domain had approx 3.5 type ins a day for the last couple of months before this.

Thanks for your thoughts,

Sam :)

edit: cool! this post makes me a "dnf addict"

I am not sure how to value your site, but I sure like it. You did a great job with it!

Not sure about the appraisal, but the site is certainly useful.

(But, I still like JigsawGrams the best - just haven't had time to use it.):D

Thanks for the positive feedback guys

unuseddomains.com: :) Thanks - I have no idea of value either, but I'm happy with the result for now...

Beachy: hi! jigsawgrams isn't working at the moment - i've rather neglected it. Just realised it seems to be listed 4th on google for "flash jigsaw" - guess I should get it going again...

gsk008: Thanks for the appraisal - $200 not a bad start :)

moxsum: thanks - if anyone's interested, there's also www.coollogo.com which directs to www.flamingtext.com

www.freelogo.com and www.free-logo.com seem to be just affiliate links for arttoday.com... they've been saying "coming soon" for ages... wonder what the type-ins are for those...

any more opinions?

Thanks,

Sam

Abusiveelusive: thanks - any thoughts on how to make it more useful?

devildude8989: for the right price, yes :) I have no idea what that would be though - and I think I'll try and get some traffic to it before trying to sell. But I'd certainly consider any offers by pm :)

[edit]
I'm going to wait until I've got the site promoted a bit before I consider selling... so its probably not worth making an offer to me for now... although it is nice to get 'em :)
[/edit]

Thanks all,

Sam

Cool tools
Good luck with the site :)

Free banners seem to bring traffic as well, you could put your site's name in every free banner and get free advertising ;)

Let me know when you want to sell it.

I am not going to make offers until then.

I could be interested also. (Especially in JigsawGrams.) If I understood how they work (so I could maintain them), that is. :D

Keep up the great work, Sam.

Hey, why do you all wait until I'm asleep to post? :)

spietreser: thanks, you've given me a couple of ideas with that banner thought...

UnusedDomains.com: thanks, glad you like it ... more features coming over the weekend hopefully...

devildude8989 and Beachy: I'll keep you both posted if/when I decide to sell - gonna try and add a few bits over the weekend anyway,

thanks all for your compliments, suggestions and interest,

cheers, Sam

Well it is VERY nice how it is. I thought of something you could add, but I looked again, and you already had it!

Thanks!

A few things I hope to add over the weekend - but may take a little longer:

Button maker - rectangles, rounded rectangles, circles, etc - get your design how you like it, then just enter all the labels into a textfield and get all buttons made at once + an option to choose different colors and get mouseover effects buttons created as well

Navigation Bar maker - options to create standard flat navigation bars or tabbed styles ( like amazon.com uses - where the selected tab appears, well, selected :)

Maybe a banner creator - if I can get together a selection of background templates, it would be easy to let users add their logo and banner message on top. Not too sure about animated banners yet though...

"box" designer - to create the html and graphics for specific content "boxes" (not sure if its clear what I mean :? ) - the kind of box with a heading, then a little content - rounded edges, etc.

The main thing I need to do for all this is figure out how to get anti-aliasing to work - the text already is, but buttons and things with round edges don't look too hot without it. Hmmm...

p.s. has anyone who signed up received the welcome email? It would be very helpful to know if anyone hasn't - it works for me, but I've had other sites where email has been hit and miss...

pps. has anyone tested the "password reminder" yet?

Hmm, should this post maybe be moved to domain development or related offers?

Thanks,

Sam
