Its kinda strange, but I haven't seen any french domains. Considering that france is such an important country, it seems weird to me.

Anyone here with french domains?

They do not sell well even to end users... and most people here are resellers anyway.
The French have yet to understand the power of domains.

At least there has been a big sale recently:
masculin.com €150000 :)

Are you speaking about French language domains, or dot fr domains? I haven't seen alot of activity with this cctld, also there are restrictions...

The sale of Masculin.com is not bad, although this was a case of a company rebranding around the name.

I mean .com :)
The aftermarket for .fr is of course even more limited because of the restrictions.

even the .com ones are hard to find. And french, as a language, is quite popular.

french domains don't get much press, most talk and sales are of spanish and german. there must be over 100 million french speakers in the world, France, Quebec and a few other smaller countries. Most good french domains in .com are gone, but you can sometimes get .net, .org and others. maybe french domains are a good place to invest before they catch on.

There are at least some buyers

There are some good sales happening but they are private. Regarding the .fr, the level of registration is much lower than the .de or .co.uk. It is an extension with a lot of potential.
