I also have a funny ebay comment:

Maybe Xxx.net but 850 is not cheap. Give a better price. You only paid
about $10 to register it in the beginning

Yes I understand that the value of domains are increasing but I can buy
another 3 character .net for 80 bucks.

Basically, he wants to buy a lll.net of mine for reg fee. How bitter funny.

Sedo offers...You've gotta laugh, sometimes.

I got a $60 offer once....I countered asking mid $x,xxx, justifying the price with some stats...

The reply came back: 'The number of visitors is irrelevant to the value - $100, final offer'...

:D

.

I have to say most of the offers I have received via Sedo have been quite fair, getting the person to actually pay for the domain is a completely different story.

Years ago I got a terrible offer for an Irish football name I own. When I pointed out that I'd already spent more than that in renewing the domain for a few years, he wanted to know why I needed the name anyway, as I was a woman.

I got an email yesterday asking to hand over a domain name for free as "I wasn't using it".
