But the company is going after what could be a huge market, allowing anyone to “buy stock” and speculate in premium domain names. ...

What a concept... Would the possible rate of return be worth it?

I signed up but did not see a link for listing my domains.
Is it only for their own domains? Or by invitation?

looks like you have to move your domain over to their register if it isn't already with them...that's a clever way to make some quick cash

actually to EuroDNS ( more to follow ) , it is an Escrow account as such, I believe.

I played around when it was in Beta , and i think if it takes off it is a great idea . Gives the small man a slice of the pie , whilst letting owners release some equity in their domains. Its a good idea in principal .... time will tell.

PS : I am not involved in any way ... but I did throw a few hundred at it buying shares .. call it a gamble ...

Interesting idea.

Could be old or bad information on their website judging by KPY.com only being valued at $2,587 in their front page examples, which could be disturbing to new clients.

I don't like names with a letter 'K' especially the first letter being a k which I consider one of the worst letters for acronym use potential but based on the hot market for even bad 3 letter com's the price seems very low. PJJ.com at $2,400 also seems low even for equally bad letters.

I believe you can only offer upto 45% of a domain for sale
KPY.com has 5000 shares @ $1.17 ... total price $5825.. ( at time of posting )
...of that 5000 shares , 2250 are available to public ... ( which is prob the number you are quoting .... 2250@ $1.17 = $2635 public shares )

although $5825 seems low for an LLL.com ....

---------edit--------
KPY.com is owned by one of the owners of FUSU , so i guess they realeased it to the public cheaply to create some interest
