I my opinion I would say it’s too long, there are loads of good gadget domains around which are much shorter. Also would somebody type in gadgets for geeks as a search term? I doubt it, where as they may type in gadget shop or buy gadgets.

So on this basis I would say it’s not a high value gadget domain. That’s not to say that you couldn’t build a brand and site around this domain, but as it is with no content, I would think it doesn’t pick up much if any traffic.

Therefore value would be low.
