This is nice, short .com that seems easy to remember and contains two specific and popular keywords. My first thought on the use of this (if not being used as you had described) would be as a search engine for games being offered on eBay, Yahoo, Amazon and any number of other online auction sites.
It's tough for me to estimate the dollar value on this DN because I'm not very familiar with the gaming industry aside from knowing that it's large. The fact that "bids" defines a smaller segment of a large industry will impact its value to a degree. The name seems to me to be most valuable for describing a service, rather than a product.
If I were to consider just the name itself, I would say that it has above-average value for the following reasons:
* only 8 letters
* .com TLD
* two good keywords
* medium to large industry appeal
* easy to remember, pronounce, spell
I imagine you probably considered these criteria before you purchased the DN. :approve:
Hmmm. A dollar estimate.... Well, it seems the DN could have a pretty high link popularity on the major search engines. The potential profitability of the website may depend solely on advertising revenues and per-click search revenues, which could be quite lucrative. To someone who has a specific plan for putting this DN to work, I'd estimate the DN could be worth somewhere around $5,000 in the current market.
