I own gamesforum.com. I think the idea of bulletin board style forums is generally is a little old hat, and this is likely to become increasingly so as the internet evolves and people migrate to more sophisticated platforms for community discussion. Of course the word "forum" should necessarily only refer to bulletin-board style forums (such as this one), but nevertheless as far as the internet is concerned it has probably taken on this meaning. With that in mind, I would say you paid about the right price for the pair. I wouldn't value them any higher at this point, although if you had a well developed and popular community running on them then their value would of course be higher.
