Geaney.com acquires SS.com for $1.25 million

I'm not sure if you all caught this, but there was a post by the seller, tm3500 I believe, that this domain is indeed under contract and off the market. I don't think there is any reason to suggest that Geaney is not the buyer for the indicated price.

We've all seen his photo now; definitely the terrorist look. What people are not realizing is that he is probably just being used as a front. The money is obviously not his. From his photo and website, he looks like someone that has been recruited by some wealthy powerful terrorist/racist backers. If he was gullible enough to be recruited by these people, then he is stupid enough to start blurting it out before the sale is even completed.

I still maintain that if this sale is consummated, the domain will not be used for good purposes. The buyers behind Geaney knew exactly what they wanted and why. Which goes back to my original argument, that SS will never be fully divorced from its historical context. On the bright side, Australia is very good at prosecuting things like this, but unfortunately the domain will likely be quickly flipped to some dark corner of the world.

Time to get off of fantasy island.

Nut case is at it again. Several new press releases at geaney.com. He's apparently trying to coerce various domain owners to hand over the names. One is GERMANY.COM. This guy is flaked out! He's basically trying to extort them!

Come on, tell me more explicitly what we need to do to get off of Fantasy Island!

There's nothing wrong with Socalboy's statement Fearless. Infact theres a lot of truth in what he said. Perhaps it's you Fearless who needs to pinch yourself and wake up.

Thanks Nostrodime. A voice of reason finally speaks. Appreciated:)

Jeez guys, can't you see this is BS?

If you wanted a name enough to pay $1.25m for it - would you risk the seller pulling out? Like hell you would!

Just read his last press release. :pound:

This guy is obviously 16 years old, and enjoying himself.

If you guys think this guy is buying or could buy ss.com, you're gullible and naive.

I'd have to agree, I think it was evident about 5-7 pages ago that this was a 100% not true sale and the purported buyer is a maniacal 16 year old not taking his meds.

If anyone still believes, I've got a bridge for sale, in NY, prime location, will accept paypal :D

Yea,

I read their latest press releases. Yes, the NeoNazis are flaunting that they now have this domain. Thanks people for sticking up for your "principles."

TM3500, if you want any semblance of credibility on this forum, I suggest you pull the plug on this supposed deal. You've already let it go too far.

BS. The pretend buyer is waiting for this so he can post the seller backed out.
The pretend buyer is likely a member here.

It always amazes me how much effort some people go to when scamming like this... If they put the time and effort and money involved towards something legit they would probably be able to do alright... For some reason wackos like this seem to enjoy it, I guess that is the only explanation...
