Similar thing was said about the word "texting" many years ago.

So far it's made $2.47 cents parked at Sedo for 3 days. Do a quick google of "gesturing", give some due diligence and perhaps ZERO may change. None the less, I do appreciate you taking the time to reply and welcome more thoughts.
Gesturing.com is not a valuable name right now. It is not in the same planet as texting. I said that others would find it more valuable than me, but that I would not register it. It is an awkward name and I have a very hard time imagining it ever being turned into a big-time business, so that takes the end-user buyer out of the equation.
You never mentioned the PPC earnings. Obviously, if something makes just under $1 per day it is worth more than zero, and is definitely worth registering. I still think these types of names can cost you more money than they are worth. I bet you will put in multiple hours this year thinking about the name, putting up threads about the name, trying to sell the name, etc. Most people totally forget to include this time in their analysis. If you get to 15 or more hours your will wipe out your PPC earnings on time spent alone.
That is why some of the terrible names are worth less than zero, because everything adds up. I have yet to see one person talk add up the time spent on names and factor it into their estimation of the name's worth (except myself).
If you never spent another second thinking about this name it looks like you might make a few hundred dolars per year on it. That is pretty darn good, but how much did you spend for the name? And how much time and effort have you put into it (counting the negotiations, too).
If all you did was press a button to get the name then you are way ahead, but there are lots of other things involved that take time and money (including daydreaming about possibilities). Add up the purchase price, the time spent on it, and the brain time thinking about it, and you will soon find that it isn't so great of name.
