For Sale Godaddy gives up?

I had a couple names in there ... suddenly I get emails saying they are available. WELL DUH !! ! godaddy isn't that your job to get them for me. . . Thanks just picked them up at another registrar for $6.95

So you mean you had them BACKORDERED with GoDaddy, and you get a message from GoDaddy NOT telling you that they successfully REGGED them for you... but that they were simply *available* to be registered? How horrible.

OMG! I was lucky, got a name with my last backorder there back in October, and just transferred it out after 60 days. Now, I'm GoDaddy-free!

I had a backorder on a name at GD.

I checked it this morning and it was available.

I hand reg'd it .

I guess even computers screw up sometimes.

I have a couple of those too. Talking with a supervisor about this now. I wouldn't mind including any other names where they have failed to execute a backorder and simply send out alerts, if you guys want to send them to me.
