However, in the future if you backorder a domain that is currently registered with the Go Daddy Group, and that domain expires without being renewed by the registrant and falls to redemption, you will be 100% guaranteed to catch the name.

Just when I thought there was a glimmer of hope for the piss-poor registrar known as GoDaddy! Today the theory was once again proven WRONG. I kept one name on backorder for a long time waiting to see if a GoDaddy domain would be caught by a GoDaddy Backorder. Well it happened again.

I've also had success with godaddy. About 700 names last year.

I've gotten several excellent names even including a couple of high level .COMs with good traffic. It takes lots of patience and time but if you don't like paying $x,xxx or $xx,xxx for good drops; it's worth the gamble. Mind you, feel free to ignor this!
