For Sale Godaddy's Backordering Service Sucks!!

Since I believe there are only 3 registrars now working the drops for GoDaddy, I can understand why the number of successful catches would be very limited. But their service absolutely sucks!! It has become so bad, that I don't even wait for the e-mails announcing "unsuccessful" anymore. I just go right to the account and make the exchanges.

Hey Mr. Parsons, if you're reading this, you'd better put aside loads of extra cash to return the monies invested in the backorders that will NEVER be filled after WLS begins!

I know what you mean. I feel the same away about snapnames. They've sucked for me the last few months. I'm hoping they get me a name that drops this week. At least if they get me that name, I would be interested in renewing my snaps with 0 exchanges!. The way it stands now, its just a waste of money.

I can't complain, although they aren't catching the Monster names, Godaddy and Snapnames are still catching names for me that have $250-600 bids on NW consistently.

For me too!

Except for yes. (12/14) when I screwed up and someone snuck right in.

Wanted two names. Had both covered at NameWinner with only $8.75 high bids! Had the GoDaddy's on both of 'em! Also had the snaps! Now here's where I f**ked up. Went to Pool's hot list just before it changed over (btwn. 1:15-1:30 PM [EST]) to the next day's list (which would have been for today) and they were both still listed there--which meant that no one had put them in their account to be grabbed! So I figured, since both names were not getting that much play at either NW or Pool, it would be safe to exchange the snaps for some better drops. WRONG! Some dick snuck right in and got the snaps and guess what? Snaps got both names! I'm BUMMED!!

Seems that Snapnames got both of 'em for me even though I exchanged the backorders for new domain names about 45 minutes before the drop began. VERY WEIRD! But I'm happy.

Godaddy used to be good, it helped me to get several domains which has over USD 2000 bids over NW.

But now it sucks.
