Good Idea. Someone should bestow upon them the Platinum-Dispute-Award for relentless arbitration.

The empty diet coke can I'm looking at seems a bit meagre as a platinum prize. We need something bigger and shiny'er! If you can think of an appropriate item to serve as the official Platinum Prize Award Thingy, feel free to post your suggestion here.

This week is full of milestones ...

* 25,000 WIPO domain case

* 300 Millionth person in U.S.

* DOW 12,000 (very possible)

Seriously though, 25,000 is a lot of cases ... and with the ever increasing importance of domains, I'm sure in a few years we'll be reading about WIPO's 100,000th ... especially, as the news article alludes to, the large expected rise in domain disputes regarding IDNs.

I notice that they expect a sharp increase of cases relating to IDN. Strange, as most of the domain establishment still seems to regard these as worthless.
