Lol, what, did you think clicking on that link was going to show you all these great ideas....no....you have to add them yourself.

I've been having issues getting my page spidered....

I heard you should create a blank file named "robots.txt" and place it in your main folder...

my page is: www.ExcitingAutos.com - could someone tell me what I should add/change to get some good Google results...?

thanks a bunch

1. Make use of <h1,2,3>, <strong> tags.
2. Provides alt description for images and title for links on the site.
3. Get people to link to your site.

Also I have some SEO articles and tools on my site (Mod Edit - PM for details) that might be useful to you. :-D

LOL!

1. This is something called HTML.

2. Not the text between the tags but the title attribute inside the href tag.

3. Get some GOOD content on your site and people will link to you. Of course, there are some tricks too, but I'm not going to share my trade secrets with you. :D

I totally agree with alien especially about the Alt, H1, 2 and 3 tags also try using 2/3 keyword phrases in all you tags like "german supercars" or "japanese sportscars" etc, etc...

As there is not much content on the site in the form of text (Ideally 250 to 300 words) for keyword placement I suggest you go and find some subject related links.

Implement all the above and you should get your site flying.

It's very much like the font tags, so you could use the heading tags instead. Try them out and you'll see. How did you mark up your page?

By the way, I guess you have overused your keywords metatag.

Yeah, most people think "chi-ching" when you ask for a quality link nowadays.

You can always go the 'easy' way: pay for links on quality sites.

linkpartners.com is a good way to get a free PR link and then that should help at least get found.

I don't understand Google, I put up a joke website a few months ago and within 1 week it was the #1 result for "dumb pictures". It was #1 for a couple months but now its not listed under those keywords anymore at all?

If it happened within the timeframe of the last 3 - 4 months, you may want to join thousands of other websites in thanking the latest Google dance (dubbed "Florida"). Run a search on Google (heh) and you'll get A LOT of mostly relevant info. ;)
