Handregged Domain of the Day

Hand reg the other day: AfroRussian.com.

I couldnt believe a category of people waiting to be picked up. Russia does not take care of its black population like the usa. Still alittle backwards over there about human rights.

The Russians are now "backwards" because they don't "take care" of racial groups?

It sounds like the Russkis are doing at least one thing right!

The USA was never about "taking care" of people --that's Marxism.

I got a nice product domain today

SportCoats(.)co(.)uk

74k exact searches per month. I am very happy with this catch today :D

Do people buy sportS JACKETS online in the UK?

In the US, I go to a department store and get fitted there..

i hope this post isn't considered off topic..just trying to add to the conversation.

i think the idea of aiming for 'type in traffic' is a very old school thought and one that seriously needs to be revisited.

times have changed... all the biggest names in all the world - no one would ever naturally type those in
twitter, facebook, wordpress, ebay, flickr... the list is ENDLESS.. talk about generics all day long, but those are long gone and will never be had for any 'normal' person with a mid sized bank account... that's reality.

with social marketing the way it is - with facebook pages being advertised in print and tv MORE SO than websites...
...i think the days of 'expecting' heavy type in traffic are over... we push links now
.. and even then.. you have tiny url's that don't even show your domain name anymore whenever a link IS pushed.

i think the need for creativity in your branding has become much more a necesity these days and will only continue to be that way going forward.
just food for thought.
those kinds of domains typically have little to no value as someone can just make up anything.

BigMoolah.com (today)
WeGotGirls.com (yesterday)

kinkyplayhouse.com
radbanners.com

(both yesterday)

Just hand regged Rystal.com

Possible domain hacks: c.rystal.com etc.. :D

ftlauderdaleduilawyers.net
ftlauderdaleduiattorneys.net

added to my collection of dui geos in SFL

I own most cities singular .net here

and the .net is just as good as the .com for what I do

make it #1 on google and run a bunch of ppc on it for a client

so minor reg fees will bring me thousands a month from a top DUI lawyer here next week

and yeah, last week I spoke to two dui guys in FTL

so I have dui legal keywords with no geo's they want to deal with me already under sub domains

but there's nothing like open reg fee gold IF you know here to look

LOL
