Handregged Domain of the Day

I bloomin' love hand reg'd domains, anyone who says they don't hand reg are either lying or are unable to think outside the box.

My recent punts:

drivingexperiences (dot) org (2,400 exacts)
powershowers (dot) org (2,900 exacts)
androidpcsoftware (dot) com (1,600 exacts) TM, but interested to see where this one goes.

Happy New Year!

Nothing wrong with hand regs when you are going to develop them anyway!

No TM issue here as it's Android followed by a generic term, PC Software. More on the Android TM Guidelines:

Not a lawyer, but I believe that it's proper use of the name:
Android may be used as a descriptor, as long as it is followed by a proper generic term.
  • Incorrect: "Android MediaPlayer" or "Android XYZ app"
  • Correct: "Android features" or "Android applications"

Good reg for future Android development from PC's.

Edit: On second thought, it could be borderline... depending on how it's developed.

Thanks David, yeah, I think there is some scope, as long as it's developed correctly as you say. There are a few websites out there which use Android in the domain (androidcentral.com, androidcommunity.com).

The android reg is good. Not sure what you were thinking with the .org's though!

Had a FUN night! Just came home and hand registered...

...

WTF am I thinking???

SUPERFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS.COM

WTF am I thinking???

What you really wanted was supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.com, which was registered in 2001.

The good news is you can register the .CO and reap the profits with type in value as well as secure all other TLDs and ccTLDs of the domain you registered for extra type ins from other countries. ;)

The bad news is that it doesn't sound like you had a fun night if you immediately thought about registering a domain afterwards. :)

Some men smoke after.. This man hand registers domains.

Been awhile since I hand reg. a new domain. I have been on a domain diet but I have been looking at these two for some time and pulled the trigger today. I now have a plan for them. UrbanSanFrancisco.com and UrbanSanJose.com

I picked up a couple this last week or so including

3D Laser Cameras -- com

Film Release Dates -- com

Movie Cast -- co -- uk

but my favourite is:

TV Critics -- co -- uk

been just a little impulsive :)
