We host our servers on the Spry network. No problems that I can see with them. No network problems so far. I haven't used their Root Server but it looks good, only $39 for a Virtual Dedicated. I can personally say their support service is excellent. I always get a reply within the hour.

I think rackshack is great for beginers and startup sites. I've been there for a while and had problems and their support does help even at night.
They have some down times about 2 times a month, i'm paranois about my site being up so i've noticed each small downtime.
And i eventually left them because of lack of flexibility for more then 1 server.

Most site will be fine with one server and so should definately consider rakcshack their prices are the best.

I would say they are not that good for starters because if you will need any assistance, they will probably offer OS re-install :)

If you are good at linux, then they are very affordable..

I have my RaQ hosted at RackShack and have had no problems, other than a couple of minor downtimes (network related, not my hardware).

They always seem to respond quickly to my requests, considering the reasonable price. I am pretty handy with Linux, so I haven't had to deal with their software guys yet. If you want cheap dedicated hosting I'd say they're a good place to start :)

I have been using the Rack for over a year now.
They have upgraded their customer support and now have online chat with Techs. Sometime, they assume you know the intricacies of a server, but once they realize you dont, they help out, and others in chat also will help you. The addition of chat has been valuable.
My support requests, through customer trouble tickets have been handled quite quickly, in some cases within the hour.

Their service started out a bit slow, but they have improved 100% in the last year.

Their prices cant be beat.
Their uptime is superb.
The response time to requests, plus the customer chat room is now a valuable asset.

A Happy Rack customer that has lots of happy customers.

I am one of Stanks' "happy customers". :)

In fact, VERY happy - I have never had a problem with the hosting and have had very close to 100% uptime.

I highly recommend Stanks and Rackshack.
