I get offers for horoscope.info all the time but this party seems serious.

I really do not want to sell it but they are being very persistent.

What surprises me is they are from the U.S. and most of my offers have been from Europe.

What do you think it is worth?

Nice name. Why not ask for around $5,000. Star.info went for around $2500 and this is a similar calibre name. I would think you could get somewhere between those 2 figures based on other .info sales.

I notified the interested party last night that I was going to develop the site and was not interested in selling.

I will hold the name for another year and access the market then for dot info.

As fizz opinted out, if you have something like horoscope.info and want to spend $7 for horoscopeinfo.com as a defensive move then fine (just like picking up the .net when you have the .com) - but having that .com is not going to make a bit of difference in the price you are going to get for your .info. If a buyer is going to spend $3,000 for a .info they are already sold on the viability of the extension - they aren't going to care about the gobbledegookinfo.com bonus domain enough to give you any more or less money.

By the way Host, that is excellent advice from DA. Put it in your signature. Everyone is ready to start throwing tomatoes at you every time you answer a post with that.
