Thanks RADiSTAR - Think it has potential if it's promoted / maintained the right way?

Absolutely, the community of graphics designers would definitely want to show off their skills.

Hey Phrone
Good idea :eek:k: but this DCB script kinda not fit.
I wanted to use this script for a project, but the problem is the Profiles thing.
This script has been built for use of "people" rate my pic (Hot Or Not), and that's why it uses Profiles, age, Image limit etc'...
Maybe we should look for a different "RateMy" script that wasn't built for people pics... :)

Anyway, Good Luck ;)

Well I changed mine around.

Here's a hint - it says something like:

<tr class="picsheader" >
<td height="25" >&nbsp;</td>
<td width="20%" align="left" >Name</td>
<td width="20%" align="left" >Program</td>
<td width="30%" >Profile</td>
<td width="30%" height="25" align="left" >Rating</td>
</tr>

I changed "Gender" to "Program". Now on the pages where the word "gender" should be displayed, it will say "program instead".

Another thing is during the sign up process..

<tr >
<td width="1" height="25" class="normal">&nbsp;</td>
<td height="25" class="normal">Gender</td>
<td height="19" class="normal"><FONT
face="MS Sans Serif, Tahoma, Verdana, Arial" size=1>
<SELECT name=gender
size=1 id="gender" class="mytext">
<option value="M" <? if($gender=="M") print "selected"; ?>>Adobe Photoshop</option>
<option value="F" <? if($gender=="F") print "selected"; ?>>Paint Shop Pro</option>
</SELECT>
</FONT></td>
</tr>

So for every "male" it would be photoshop.. and females paint shop pro. So I changed the text on the buttons that say "top guys" and "top girls" to "top photoshop" and "top paint shop pro".

If you understand it - have fun. If not - IM me and I will customized it for cheap. I found it easy to edit the images and ect.

Thanks :)

Anymore comments are welcome!

Sure I understand :) Good thinking.. I'll get back to this project some day..
(I think get rid of the "Age" and "List Users with Pics only?" would also help :)

I like the age slot since you never know how old the people are who work with Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro.

The "list users with pics only" is a good idea - I will probably do that right now.
*EDIT*
I got rid of it - looks nicer too :)

That's a sweet idea/website my friend. Only thing i would recommend is to somehow maximize the actual size of the image (as in pixel size). For example, the fatty pimp graphic is very nice, but to big for the page imo.

Great job though and good luck!

I agree.

I'm 90% sure theres no option to limit the size.. but I could try to do something.

If anyone has a suggestion on how to do that please let me know.

If you use Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro PLEASE sign up and try to help me get this site rolling :)

Is there a way to lock the size of a "layer" for a graphic to where the picture would always resize itself? Im not sure if there is a way to do this, just an idea.

Possibly - I will research it later tonight.

Okay - I started looking at it today.. and I found this on the page where it shows the pictures:

while($obj=mysql_fetch_object($res))
{
if($obj->url=="")
{
$dpic="<img border=0 src='pics/$obj->filename'>";
}
else
{
$dpic="<img src='$obj->url'>";
}
if((empty($phid)&&($num==$rnum))||($phid==$obj->photosid))
{
$photoid=$obj->photosid;
$pic=$dpic;
$allpics=$allpics."<b>".($num+1)."</b>&nbsp;";
$numcomments=getNumComments($photoid);
}

Maybe someone could get a code or something that makes the image "die" (rezise) if it exceeds say 1280x1024 for resolution?

Please try and help.. should be easy, eh?

That is a cool idea. I'd edit the age thing out of that script though, doesn't make much sense for a photoshopping site.

It's nice to know how old people working with Photoshop. I think it shows that you dont have to an "adult" to master Photoshop..

I will remove it from the search thing, but keep it in the register / view profile area.
