Nope, haven't really noticed much IDN in adverts, but I'll keep my eyes open for it now. OK, I found some available IDN's but not sure if they will be worthwhile, My wife's common family name is available in .com and .net, and my son's first name, single Kanji .net is available. Might take a stab at them, so is Moniker the way to go?

Most of the more active IDNers register at Dynadot and Domainsite. Dynadot offers a 4 day cancellation (which is good as some register IDNs then put them up for native speaker appraisal). Moniker is also good, but my personal preference is Domainsite for excellent customer service and ease of "push" between accounts.
