Yes, it's a mess; but for the time being, you may at least change the bgcolor to #ffffff:

/**/

<!--

BODY{ background-color:#99CCCC;}

P{color:#465d5c;margin:3px;}

A{color:#e86500}

Edit: Oops! Already Done?!

Yeah, thats the line I found.. and yes I just inserted 000000 as I was testing... I'm a cut and paste guy..I dont keep a color wheel on my desk..

I am a perfect example "kids" of why you need to learn html from scratch.. :D

It's just to easy to cut and paste...and then go back and fix bits of html that isnt working right...oh what a mess though..and I use FP2000 which dosent help matters either..

I know js is suppose to be a "no-no" but I love these little scripts.. a lot of useful tools ..

The main reason is because google cant read them! I say good.. If google cant read them then there is no penalty !Google cant determine one way or another if it's good or bad..so it's a neutral as far as Google's algo is concerned..

The very idea that SE's have problems with Js, flash etc.. is amusing..we the "webmasters" (I use that term very loosely in my case ;)) are suppose to dumb down our sites and be text only so the se can read it ? huh?

I dont think so.. the se's need to expand their learning curve with the different coding that's out there..

my 2c

Javascripts are fine as long as you don't "overdose". :D

But your page is still black over that grid?

I am not seeing the black grid...but I went ahead and changed the color code over to FFFFFF ..did that take care of it ?

Yeah, I agree..dont over do it.. I think I am right at that limit.

Just enough js tools to be useful

Well to some degree...but you can do a convention center search and see what you think..my placements are all just fine..

Fonz, have given up chasing the SE's around when they change there algo's every month.. I'm building for customers..and doing just the basic SEO..seems to be working just fine

I mean the bgcolor that used to be aqua near the bottom right. It's now gone.

If you need any minor web design help, just post it here. :)
