Hello there,

I was told this was the place to go to discuss domains, and so I thought I'd say hi.

I'm Rachel from Rikimu.com. We provide a few different services that might be interesting for domain owners, like free domain brokerage, sale- oriented pages that go to most domain marketplaces (see babydoctors.com) and parking. We also crowd-source charitable giving through domaining.

If you have any questions drop me a note. Definitely want to learn more about domaining and how everyone is making money on the web.

Take care and feel free to drop me a note!

Rachel

Welcome to the forum. It's always nice to see companies making a positive social impact in today’s world. I too myself am quite a contributor and a lot of my profits go to The Semper Fi Fund.

What charities are you affiliated with (as it's not mentioned in your FAQ)?

Additionally, if each click has a certain percentage donated—and we all know a company needs a revenue stream to keep them above water—how much are you able to give the end users of both parking and provide free brokerage at the same time?

Thanks for the kind welcome!

We are also excited to be making an impact.

@David - For more info on the charities we work with, check out http://rikimu.com/main/care

We are always looking for more charities to include in our mix. Any suggestions are much appreciated.

We do give a % of our share of each click to charity, but we also keep our overhead razor-thin to stay competitive in the PPC space. We don't believe we should take a cut of sales for brokering domains parked with us, since monetizing traffic is the core of our business anyway, and so many people organize their strategies around domain name resales. We have had positive feedback so far!

Let me know if I can help out or answer any more questions.

Thanks!

Rachel
